Zusammenfassung
Osteonekrosen des Kapitatums sind sehr selten. Die Mehrzahl der Fälle ist traumatischer Genese, wobei sich jedoch nicht immer eine Fraktur als Ursache findet. Ursachen, Verlauf, Diagnostik und Therapie werden anhand der Literatur sowie eines Fallberichtes dargestellt.
Summary
Avascular necrosis of the capitate is a rare condition. Most cases involve direct or indirect trauma with or without fracture. Etiological conditions, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options are presented in a case report and a review of the literature.
